Advanced Course
Ready for steeps, powder and off-piste? Take the next step.
For skiers who can link turns and want more mountain. Six days from confident parallel turns to carving and your first Gondola descents on Apharwat's blue and red terrain.

The Course
This is the bridge between 'I can get down' and 'I can ski'. Over six days we replace the stem with clean parallel turns, introduce carving on groomers, and take you onto the variable snow, moguls and Gondola terrain where real skiing begins.
Coached in small groups by certified local instructors who ski Apharwat every day, with performance gear and lift access included.

We start on familiar blue terrain to refresh stance, edging and speed control, so your coach can tailor the week to exactly where you are.
Move beyond the stem: matching your skis earlier in the turn for smooth, linked parallel turns on blue groomers.
Tip the skis on edge and let their shape do the work — clean carved arcs on gentle groomers, building edge grip and angulation.
Take your turns off the groomed: crud, soft snow and your first moguls, learning absorption, line choice and rhythm.
Ride Phase 1 and lower Phase 2 for longer descents, putting the week's skills together on bigger, steeper blue and red terrain.
A morning of mileage on your favourite runs, video feedback and an intermediate progression certificate before departure.
The Mountain
You'll progress from the learner meadow onto Gondola Phase 1 and the lower blue and red runs of Phase 2.
Terrain shown is illustrative. Daily run choices depend on snow, weather and avalanche conditions — always follow your instructor and ski patrol on the mountain.
Why You'll Love It
Ditch the wedge for good — smooth parallel turns and your first carved arcs on groomers.
Longer, steeper descents on Phase 1 and lower Phase 2, guided every run.
Confidence in crud, soft snow and moguls — the skills that unlock the whole mountain.
The Fine Print
Good to Know
Skiers who can already link basic turns and stop confidently on green runs, and want to move to parallel skiing, carving and their first blue and red terrain off the Gondola. If you completed our beginner week — or ski a few days most seasons — this is your next step.
Confident parallel turns on blue runs, early carving on groomers, controlled skiing in variable snow and moguls, and your first supervised runs on Gondola Phase 1 and lower Phase 2.
Moderate fitness — you'll ski longer, faster runs than a beginner. Comfortable walking/jogging and a few weeks of leg conditioning make the week far more enjoyable.
Yes — performance skis, boots, poles and helmet suited to intermediate terrain, plus lift and Gondola access as per the course.
A maximum of four skiers per instructor at this level, so coaching stays personal while you cover more of the mountain.
Move from linked turns to carving this winter. Limited spots — reserve your intermediate course dates.
